TERMS OF USE

Holcim Ltd maintains a database of Holcim Ltd media and brand assets, Holcim Technology Ltd media and brand assets, and Lafarge SA media and brand assets under the name Holcim Brand Platform. All rights to these assets are, with the exception of the rights of use described herein, reserved by Holcim Ltd, Holcim Technology Ltd or Lafarge SA. Holcim Ltd, Holcim Technology Ltd, Holcim Group Services Ltd and Lafarge SA Affiliates (hereinafter “the User”) shall be granted access to this Holcim Brand Platform to make use of these images, templates and tools to produce materials on behalf and for the User.

The download and use of Holcim Ltd media and brand assets is as described above.

The download and use of Holcim Technology Ltd media and brand assets is as described above.

The download and use of Lafarge SA media and brand assets is as described above.

Modification: The User may use the templates and logos and modify images in an appropriate manner for his intended lawful use. Considering especially the right to one’s own pictures - modifications that misrepresent the original information in the image to such an extent that the originator could be personally disadvantaged (e.g. allegation that his reputation has been damaged, defamation) are strictly prohibited. The User will be liable for any claims by third parties resulting from any such prohibited use.

The logo s and templates are only to be used in accordance with the Holcim Brand Identity Directives and Recommendations or, where applicable, with the Brand Identity Directives of the brands Lafarge, Holcim, Geocycle or of the product brands of Holcim Technology Ltd.

Resale: The resale or dissemination of any media and brand asset provided on the Holcim Brand Platform is strictly prohibited.

Non-exclusivity: The User shall not acquire an exclusive right of use to the Holcim Ltd, Lafarge SA and Holcim Technology Ltd media and brand assets used.

The period of use for Holcim Ltd, Holcim Technology Ltd and Lafarge SA media and brand assets is unlimited unless stated otherwise in the Holcim Brand Portal.

The Holcim media and brand assets offered may not be used:

for the purpose of illegal actions

in a pornographic connection

in a way that humiliates and debases the person(s) depicted

in a way that disadvantages the Holcim Group.

The User must, if requested by Holcim Ltd, provide evidence that the visual material is being used in a correct and lawful manner (e.g. provide specimen copies, screenshots).

The rights of use as stipulated in section 1 are not transferable.
